I Do or Do i ?
Readers Rating :8.00

I pause for a moment in this crazy fast paced day to re-evaluate my marriage vows and realize suddenly...i can't remember any sentence from that part of the joining ceremony!!!

How be it that i remember some major parts of the day and i can't recall the most important part of the entire ceremony... or isn't that the most important aspect? Or could "you may kiss the bride" be the most important? I really don't know anymore.

I can hardly remember my public declaration of love and commitment to marital bliss and here I am stuck(I'll revisit the word "stuck" later) in a lifetime partnership!!! This has some unsavoury taste and ring. But does it really?

Do you remember the words you said in the vows you took? Even if you can't repeat everything you said, could you at least remember half of it? I wouldn't even bother in attempting to remember the varied emotions or what i was thinking whilst looking into my partner's eyes and saying those words.

Did i really mean everything i said? I am sure at that time i believed it was possible, i mean everything and anything was possible and i guess i was so excited i just couldn't wait to go through the ceremony and go home "married"... must have been so excited.

Couple of hours, days months, year, years down the road, here i am, wondering what i said and what i meant, here i am pausing in this crazy fast paced day to re-evaluate my marriage vows and realizing that i really cannot recall my vows except for the cliché of " ....for better or worse..." yippee, at least i recall something!

Hey, i could actually go back to watch the video of the ceremony and get back all the missing information right? But how convenient would it be to go back to the screen every hour just to recall your vows? Or wouldn't that be cheating? Is there anybody out there who has some trick, i could borrow... pray please tell, how do YOU remember your vows on the go, in any crazy fast paced day!!!
